Top PR Leaders Join ICCO Board of Management
24 February 2014, London – The International Communications Consultancy Organisation (ICCO) today announced that Michael Frohlich and Elise Mitchell will join the ICCO Board of Management as representatives of the PRCA UK and the Council of PR Firms respectively.
Michael Frohlich, PRCA Consultancy Head of the Year, is the Managing Director, UK and EAME Brand Marketing Practice for Ogilvy Public Relations. He has more than 17 years expertise in building effective and award-winning campaigns for his clients and has led multinational campaigns for some of the world’s leading brands and public figures. He has worked across a range of PR and marketing disciplines and businesses, and will bring his vast experience to the ICCO Board, helping to shape the future of the communications industry. Michael will represent the PRCA UK on the ICCO Board. The PRCA UK is the biggest PR association in Europe, with over 12,000 members who work in agencies and in-house communications teams, as well as freelancers and students.
Commenting on his appointment, Michael said: “I am delighted to accept my appointment to the Board of Management of the ICCO to represent PRCA UK. Elise Mitchell is the CEO of Mitchell Communications Group and Dentsu Public Relations Network. Elise is an accomplished strategic communications professional and business leader with more than 25 years of experience in both the agency and corporate settings. Over the years she has built her company to become one of the leading PR agencies in the US, working with clients such as Walmart, Procter & Gamble and Hilton Worldwide. Elise will work with ICCO on behalf of the US Council of Public Relations Firms, which is comprised of America’s leading PR firms. Its membership represents the premier global, mid-size, regional and specialty firms across every discipline and practice area.
Elise said: “As our industry continues to evolve, PR firms must stay on the forefront of change to help clients build stronger relationships with stakeholders and drive their businesses forward. It is an honor for me to bring the perspectives and expertise of the Council of PR Firms members to the global discussion as we work together to promote innovation in the industry and strengthen the role of firms in the world marketplace.”
ICCO Board of Management brings together outstanding public relations practitioners from 29 ICCO member associations around the world. Their job is to give ICCO strategic guidance and oversea the work of ICCO Secretariat in London. The Board is headed by David Gallagher, ICCO’s President and CEO EMEA of Ketchum.

Elise and Michael are expected to participate in the upcoming ICCO Board of Management meeting in Krakow, Poland.
