Ogilvy PR adds to its impressive social and content offering with industry renowned and celebrated senior talent
London, Tues 1st March – Ogilvy Public Relations is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Wall, Head of Content for Ogilvy PR London. Chris is an exemplary practitioner in the world of content and brings with him an impressive track record of ground-breaking innovative campaigns and global client relationships.
Working closely with Jai Kotecha, Head of Digital, Social and Content, Chris will be responsible for the continued growth of Ogilvy PR London’s content team, focusing on both global content strategy and best practice design & production for our growing portfolio of powerhouse brands.
After a celebrated stint as international editor of ‘The Reel’, Chris made the switch to digital agency Sapient Nitro and Isobar before settling at Edelman UK, where he has spent the last 18 months setting up the in house creative studio. Chris has a deep understanding of video and influencers and how to harness their audiences – pioneering the YouTube best in class campaign ‘Tweet when U Eat’ for Kellogg’s teen brand Krave.
Chris Wall said “I have a vision to build a multi skilled creative hub at Ogilvy – which can produce the very best in static and video content, quickly, efficiently and brilliantly. I also fundamentally believe that brands need to harness ‘culture marketing’ to survive in the new climate of communications – and build stories and platforms around human passions and interests – not focus entirely on brand messaging. Ogilvy PR London not just understands my vision and beliefs but has already shown them to be at the very heart of all the work they produce. I look forward to working with Jai, Marshall and the clients as we continue to break ground in the communications marketing space.”
Jai Kotecha said “Chris’ years of experience at the frontline of content is an incredible asset for us to be adding to Ogilvy PR London’s social and content offering. His arrival is timely and follows the promotion of Marshall Manson, former EMEA head of Social@Ogilvy into the position of UK CEO, underlining completely Ogilvy PR London’s clear vision and ambition to be world class in both its social and content strategy and production. I’m delighted to welcome Chris to the agency and can’t wait for him to get working with our global clients and partners.”
